PACSO

PACSO was set up in 1999 to meet the needs of families who have a child with a disability. Concerned at the lack of respite care available in West Sussex, parents and carers told us that the best way we could support them was by providing a variety of fun and inclusive play activities for their children.

PACSO currently supports 150 families in the Chichester and Arun districts. We do not require a formal diagnosis, but rather seek to support the individual and varying needs of each family.

"PASCO would like to thank Peter Wild and the St. James's Place Foundation for their generous donation towards a play space for children with disabilities. It will make a huge difference to the lives of the families we support. We would like to extend particular thanks to Peter for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit our Summer Playscheme. His enthusiasm and generous spirit is greatly appreciated."

Chichester Lions

I am writing to thank you for once again sponsoring the Club's message in your wallet campaign. Interest in the scheme continues to grow, both locally and nationally. We appreciate your generosity in supporting this project.

PACSO would like to thank St. James's Place who have kindly donated a further £7500 to PACSO -

The disabled children and young people that come to PACSO simply want to have the same opportunities in life as their peers. Thanks to the generous grant from Peter Wild and the St James’ Place Foundation, we will be able to provide a wide choice of Buddy Clubs. These clubs will help disabled teenagers to expand their social skills, build upon their life skills and help them to eventually transition into independent living.

Thank you so much for your support – it really will make a lot of difference to this group of vulnerable young people.
